Examples of use of Cold Relax Gel (Muscle Relaxant)

It is especially indicated for general muscle relaxation, so its possibilities of use are numerous. It must be borne in mind that one of the factors of suffering muscular pain is that the sore muscle can not relax, is tense, contracted ... and therefore causes us pain. On many occasions, relaxing the affected muscle will be the key to alleviating our pain.

Other times it doesn't hurt, but we feel tired, tense... This can affect us on a daily basis, since negative sensations in a part of our body can cause the body, when trying to alleviate those sensations, to modify the way it moves, generating decompensations. In the end this may mean affecting other parts of the body where we initially had no discomfort.

Let's comment on some examples, but it's really impossible to number them all.

Leg cramps at night

It is typical in older people to have cramps at night, which makes it difficult to reconcile sleep. In these cases, relaxing the area is essential to be able to go back to sleep. The causes may be deeper, but sleep is part of recovery.

Exercise cramps

There are many athletes who at some point feel cramps in some part of their body due to the intensity of exercise. As before, the cause is probably due to overexertion or the lack of certain elements or nutrients, but to relieve the sensation of muscle pain is essential to continue without affecting other muscles.

Tiredness after intense activities

Whether it's because of the sport, having to move, because it's the general cleaning day of the house, or for any other reason among the infinite options, at the end of the day we can notice that our body is exhausted, and that we specifically notice some of our muscles especially tired. It's not pain, but it can affect us just as much as it would if it hurt us. In order not to cause bodily imbalances, and in order to be able to rest properly, relieving that sensation is essential.

Contractures

As in other cases, contractures are probably caused by a lack of nutrients (minerals, vitamins ...), but we all know that the pain of a contracture always tends to extend until the pain is relieved. We start to hurt a point of the body and then, depending on the case, it seems that everything hurts and becomes unbearable. So getting the pain caused by the contracture relieved as soon as possible will make the recovery much quicker and bearable.

Joint discomfort

When the discomfort is focused on the joints, whether due to chronic problems, occasional inflammations, or forced joints, relieving pain is the first step towards calming our minds so that the body can better assimilate the medicines or treatments that the doctor has indicated.

How to use

It should be applied with a light massage, avoiding contact with the mucous membranes or sensitive areas. In addition, due to the vapours generated by some of the compounds, it is also recommended to avoid, as far as possible, their application near these areas.

Its application should be done on the muscle to be treated, and extend it towards its ends. For example, if we want to relax the calf muscles, we should apply it to the calf and reach up to the heel and knee. In this way we achieve that the relaxing effect is also produced in the insertions of the treated muscle.

Do not abuse the amount used. The skin has a specific capacity to absorb the compounds of the gel, and to benefit from the cold effect generated by it.

If you want to prolong the effects the best thing is that after stopping feeling the action of the gel, clean the area with a damp cloth to remove the remains that have not been absorbed, and after a few minutes having allowed the area to dry well, reapply the gel. Any previous residue may hinder the penetration of the gel compounds, so it is important to remove them and prepare the skin for a new application.
